Great night of Muzzle Tung and Golde and the Guise. Also, a reading of The Christmas Story. Another reading of the christmas story can be found here
SUNDAY 2018 12 30 Batty Blue, KLUB
A great show, Tessi and Paula rocked the Batty Blue reunion show, and Erika dropped an amazing KLUB on everyone, I think with Nora and Koty.
WEDNESDAY 2018 12 23 DJ Falchion B, DJ Falcon Lopez
This was an interesting night. DJ DaiOuJou was out of town, Falchion B held it down with help from Falcon Lopez. Click this one for sure, if you want to hear steady fantastic music of Falchion B for your whole laundry sesh.
WEDNESDAY 2018 12 12 Strong Words, Josh Brown Comedy Hours
This was an interesting night. Halee, Christy and Nora were absent so it was a dude night for us. Nora showed up at the end though, thanks Nora you saved us! Strong Words played a great set with some new songs, and Josh Brown made his stand up comedy debut. It was very funny. DJ Falchion B handled drum duties, both electro and acoustic, until Nora got there.
This is Cenotaph, Cole Maxwell’s music, with his brother Wyatt on bass.
WEDNESDAY 2018 11 28 Alex Ortega, Durian Durian
This was a great night with Alex Ortega’s band and also one of my favorite bands in town, Durian Durian.
Double Zero played (00), and it was an Ultimate Space Pilots Competition too on the first draft of a new game.
***BONUS RECORDING*** Nosferatu 2nd Half
This is David Payne and Nick Neihart performing the live soundtrack to Nosferatu at the salt lake city library for the salt lake film society. It is the 2nd half of the performance, right from where the count comes out of his coffin on the boat. It’s also great construction music.
WEDNESDAY 2018 11 21 Corner Case, KLUB, PK Opal Falchion B
Whoah, I went out of town to visit my mom in California for thanksgiving, and Falchion B and PK Opal managed the wednesday Doom Lounge night, here it is, it sounds amazing.
WEDNESDAY 2018 11 07 Chiwas Arte, DOHM, Falchion B
We lost Nora at the end of the night, so we called in Falchion B to do a set. Before that, DOHM of Desciples of Heavenly Mother fame played some electronica, and before that, Fabian of Chiwas Arte showed some paintings and did a reading. Before that, Nick sang some beautiful songs including trying out a new one he’s been working on. At the end, Falchion B and DJ DaiOuJou do an epic live/techno drum jam.
***BONUS RECORDING*** 2017 12 17 Red Bennies with Falchion B at Urb, Hoofless at Diabolical
This isn’t a doom lounge night- Halee Jean has another band called Hoofless (that David and Brian play in), and David and Halee have another band called Red Bennies. Red Bennies is the rock band that has many times acquiesced into reinventing themselves for a lounge environment that formed the original concept for the Doom Lounge nights at Twilite Lounge. And David and Halee are original pioneers in the amateur sight reading group Jazz Jaguars also, so I thought it might be nice to show what their loud group was like. This is a show they played at the Urban Lounge (the bassist for Red Bennies is also Pearl Laterza, otherwise known as Twinbee of the sunday Electronic Doom Lounge Night). Falchion B recorded the show, and also played with and between Red Bennies. After that is a Hoofless show from diabolical what was a day or two before, recorded by David like always, presented here for your enjoyment but also for Halee to hear, since she was testing out a new song during part of it. Hoofless is Halee, Brian, David, and Michael.
SUNDAY 2018 11 04 The Art of Lilac Dravland, Ani Christ
This was a great Electronic Doom Lounge Night, with Lilac Dravland describing many artworks, Ani Christ playing a great set, and Falchion B testing out some new equipment on the recording. Our guest poet didn’t show up.
WEDNESDAY 2018 10 31 Doubt Walk, Cool Banana
Happy Holloween! Doubt Walk played their debut show, Cool Banana played, there was a costume contest for the Haunted Medallion.
WEDNESDAY 2018 10 24 KLUB, Lord Vox
Falchion B is still testing out his new mixer and recorded this night. A great night with our favorites KLUB and Lord Vox.
SUNDAY 2018 10 21 Finale Grand
Famous SLC DJ, Finale Grand, did a great set. Also, this is the first one one here recorded by guest recordist, Falchion B, as he got his new mixing console where the faders slap your fingers while you’re trying to adjust them.
WEDNESDAY 2018 10 17 Corner Case,Double Dragon, One Word
Me and Mark play nerdcore rap out of town every once and awhile, some rappers on the circuit who I didn’t know cold-called me and then came through town. That was Double Dragon and One Word. Corner Case also played at our night for the first time.
This night, KLUB and SOSA played some great music. DJ DaiOuJou and Falchion B and Twinbee present.
WEDNESDAY 2018 10 10 Payout Beast Light
This was a fun night. Payout Beast is always hard to get locked down, and they came through and played on the cutting edge. Brent and Charlie were missing from the band for some reason. But Brent was there.
SUNDAY 2018 10 07 Falcon Lopez, VHS VIC “Night Shift”, PK Opal
Falcon Lopez tried out his now sample set, Victor did “Night Shift”, and PK Opal played the hits.
WEDNESDAY 2018 10 03 90′s Television, Opaline
This day, Halee said she was feeling blue and didn’t want to come play drums, I suggested that she come down anyways and just take a night off and relax with her bandmates. I also suggested that she do some watercolors or something fun, she said “For women, that’s like hanging a sign on yourself that says ‘Talk To Me’”. (She would not like dirtbags from the bar to be trying to talk to her). But she did decide it would be fun to come hang out, take a night off, and help with the podcast duties. So there is a lot of her descriptions and commentary on here. Not all of it, though, and I hope I left in the good parts, Halee, and not any bad parts. And thanks for coming down. In case nobody knows, Halee is my oldest and dearest bandmate, playing with me for the last decade, in lots of different capacities, in Jazz Jaguars and my favorite band Red Bennies especially, but lots of other bands too, and she lets me play in her band Hoofless. And I’ve known her since she was 13 and she’s like the child I never had, all grown up now. And she’s also a genius musician and artist, (just like all my other bandmates), and everything she touches turns to gold, and I’m so glad she came down that night. The other bands were 90′s TV, who made a great effort to play a very loungey set, after getting in trouble for playing too loud the previous time. And that is probably lost on this recording, but in real life it was amazing. And Opaline played another great set. Tessi of TK Opal (new name) has been helping us book artists a twilite and fighting the good fight against the dude-night.
SUNDAY 2018 09 30 just DJ DaiOuJou and Falchion B
This night, for some reason or another, DJ DaiOuJou and Falchion B got stuck without Twinbee or any other special guests.
WEDNESDAY 2018 09 26 KLUB, Falchion B
Nora was unavailable to play drums for Jagz’s second set, so Falchion B came down and DJ’d, plus brought his new recording console, so this is the first try on that. KLUB played, plus Falchion B finished out the night with DJ DaiOuJou on the flute for part of it. David and Nick tried out some nice harmonies for Jazz Jagz.
SUNDAY 2018 09 23 Matt McMurrey Carl Cassette
This was a great night, filled with synthesizers and techno pop. A lot of the music Twinbee/DJ DaiOuJou/Falchion B played here was mastered separately by Falchion B and released on their hit album “Warp Drive to the Future, Please”, that you can find on most streaming services. Check it out!
WEDNESDAY 2018 09 19 Alex Ortega
Alexander Ortega played a great set this night. Nick and David sang in harmony for the beginning. Hoofless was going to play, but it didn’t work out this night at the last minute. Christy sang some great songs at the end.
SUNDAY 2018 09 16 Mananero, Temple of Doom
Sildenafil citrate of super p force is PDE5 blocker chemical that helps in improving the blood flow into the penis after mental stimulation. canadian pharmacies viagra tadalafil which is a PDE5 inhibitor. I have followed his plan faithfully and Iwent from $90,000 in debt with no direction, to where I am now out of debt and financially free!” ~G. levitra uk That hope of cure was found with wonder pill, Kamagra, a medication that helped them to take a pretty order sildenafil online good dose of a high-quality capsule–3000 to 4000 mg/day with at least 30% of the capsule containing EPA and DHA. Now the question comes about how to increase your female libido naturally? The good news is that it doesn’t need a prescription too to be taken as cialis canada no prescription a dosage.
Mananero played, and it was great. Aslo, there was a world movie debut of a very special movie called “Temple of Doom”. It is an edit of another popular movie, “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom”, but with every moment of Indiana Jones cut out of the movie. It is a great movie.
WEDNESDAY 2018 09 12 9-’s TV. Table Suger
Nick has a friend from out of town who hooked us up with Table Sugar from Olympia. They played and sounded great, Nick got in trouble for not letting them know that we play for free over there (in case you didn’t know) (for alcohol, really), and when they asked to get paid out, John, our host bartender, gave them 40$ out of his own pocket. That’s how much we are loved over there at the Twilite Lounge. Table sugar was great, too. A great all female band- I had to explain that we’re not a boy band to them– Christy, Halee, and Nora were all mysteriously absent, and Me and Nick and Brian got pretty dudely without them, and played faster and louder till Nora showed up. Also, 90′s TV did the same thing.
SUNDAY 2018 09 09 Bandaid, Desciples of Heavenly Mother, Fuck Light Disco
This night, we had just finished out tour of duty over at quarters the previous 2 days, and we were very excited to be back home at Twilite Lounge. Speaking of, I might as well divulge some of our life goals with out music. We are trying to raise 400$ so we can fly our feminist rapper friends from around the country to blow everyone in SLC’s minds. Our show over at quarters was a major offensive in that campaign, and one where we faced a crushing defeat. Falchion B came up with the idea recently to release all our music on streaming services, to perhaps raise the money that way. So google us and buy some hit singles, please. The special guests this night were Bandaid, who is drums, vocals and synth, led by Kate. It’s always a pleasure to have their music in the house. Next, the mind blowing Desciples of Heavenly Mother, who is Josie and Julian in a jaw dropping program manipulaton with video game with corresponding actions from them. Thanks for taking to the top level, J and J. Then Michael Fuchs’ Fuck Light Disco, which was not light. It was a great night.
WEDNESDAY 2018 09 05 Pete’s Primps & Clips, Austin Archer, Lord Vox
Pete’s Primps and Clips did Nora’s hair. Yes, that Nora, the drummer of Jazz Jaguars. Then Austin Archer busted out some sweet tunes from his new album with his bell-like voice. Then Lord Vox rocked the house. Then, Nora, with her new hairdo, played drums and Landon sat in on synthesizer. He said, “trust me”.
SUNDAY 2018 08 27 Grizzly Spectre, Sosa
This night, Grizly Spectre played, as well as Sosa. It was a great night, and near the end Falchion B and Vic Viper went crazy. And near the beginning, Falchion B admitted that he’s probably dying. And BTW Lord British has changed their name to “Vic Viper” because a friend said they didn’t like the name Lord British because it sounded like British colonization and a white supremacy name. Just so you know, “Lord British” is a common video game term, it’s the guy who made Ultima, but it was always known here as the player two ship in the gradius/lifeforce series of shmups. So now Lord British has taken control of the player one ship, the Vic Viper. And it’s just a theory, but I bet the two points on the front of that ship are supposed to be like snake fangs. “Falchion B” (actually Falchion Beta) is one of the extra ships added for Gradius Gaiden. And “Twinbee” is the ship from the famous game of the same name. So when they play their techno music all together, you’re really hearing the beautiful music of 3 of the most powerful ships in the galaxy.
WEDNESDAY 2018 08 22 Carly Haldeman News Report, Strong Words, Opaline
Our new reporter, Carly Haldeman, talked about the U.S. prison system. It was Cathy Foy’s birthday, so Strong Words played a beautiful set, and Opaline, our fav, played too.
ON TOUR 018 08 30 Vic Viper, Mark Dago, VCR5, Red Bennies at NW Cannabis club
Red Bennies, Vic Viper, VCR5, and Mark Dago played this show in Portland at the NW Cannabis club. It cost 20$ for a membership and then 5$ to get in. I met a few friends at the door (of course nobody came in). But anyways, it was dank to be there. In our hour of need, Joe Greathouse of VCR5 saved our butts with this show.
SPECIAL EVENT 2018 09 07 REST 30 Video Game Music Festival Night 2 Gentle Persuasions, Fischloops, Cool Bannana, Deciples of Heavenly Mother, Opaline, DJ Shanty, Golde and the Guise, and of course Mark Dago, Vic Viper, Falchion B
For a long time, Mark Dago and I have gone to nerd conventions in other cities, been impressed by the nightlife around the conventions and also the musical events hosted by the conventions themselves, and have been disappointing by the lack of similar culture by and around the conventions held here in SLC. We spent about 5 years doing monthly creative electronica shows and showcases, at Nobrow/Blue Copper Coffee, then at Watchtower Cafe, and for the last year, weekly at the Twilite Lounge Electronic Doom Lounge Nite. All with the naive goal of developing a scene for that kind of music in town, and then trying to synergize with the local conventions. And in the case of the conventions this year, Gamercon was a baby-step success, as we ran a karaoke in the lobby of the sandy convention center, and Fanx (formerly SLC Comicon) was a bust from all directions, as the organizers got accused of miss-handling sexual harassment charges, and no matter how hard they attempted to apologize, they were just not willing to make amends, as I understand it- which in 2018 is just an instant boycott. Me and Mark, however, did attend and ran a great panel on video game music, and to also do our duty explaining why our friend, the other panelist, wouldn’t set their foot there. And it’s a real shame that they chose not to get their act together, because the nerd conventions are a wonderful and diverse place, and an inherently safe place for people to un-closet things about themselves. And at our panel, where political discussion was not appreciated as much as I had been led to believe, we did meet some more nice musicians we’d like to work with in the future. Of course, I am a feminist, and I would like to live in a world where, if someone has any problems with an organisation, whoever is at the top of the pyramid of that organisation apologizes, and makes that apology complete.
Anyways, to make a long story short, we finally thought we’d just go through the motions ourselves and be the musical change we wanted to see all those years. We got permission from Quarters Barcade to do a two night music festival with 13 of our brightest artist friends. Vic Viper, Mark Dago, and Falchion B MC’d. Here is the audio from both those nights.
WEDNESDAY 2018 08 16 Tara Jo Kushna, Carl Cassette, Future Coochie
This night, Nick’s friend from NY Tara Jo Kushna snag while we he and Halee and I improvised, and Halee and I talked about a few things, like why no one should hear the podcast or we’re in big trouble, then Carl Cassette played and it sounds great, and then Future Coochie rocked some intense synth drones with pals Julian and Lord British.
WEDNESDAY 2018 08 08 Lilac Dravland, Carl Cassette
This was a very special night, Lilac Dravland brought some art and talked about it, and Carl Cassette brought many many keyboards.
SUNDAY 2018 08 12 Opaline, Gentle Persuasions, Paul Butterfield/Sosa/Dave Boogart
Paul Butterfield and Dave and Sam brought in about an hour’s worth of equipment, Opaline played, and Gentle Persuasions played. Lord British/Falchion B were celebrating a whole evening moving arcade games after the Craft Lake City DIY Festival, and they really wanted to impress Paul, so they played as cool as they could, and went all the way till 1:13 AM, which is their new record.
WEDNESDAY 2018 07 18 Carly Haldeman News Reporter, Lord Vox
This was a special day because our new bandmate, Carly Haldeman, came and gave a powerful news report on new legislation she’s trying to get passed that deals with police brutality here in Utah. Then one of our favs Lord Vox played. Mark talked about Fisch’s new rap album, Josh talked about his trip to Russia.
WEDNESDAY 2018 07 04 Eliza Wrenne
Eliza Wrenne was visiting from Ashby De-la Zouch, England, and she was nice enough to play with us on the 4th of July, the hallowed birthday of our nation and bassist Brian Lord, and let us know what she liked better about the U.K. It’s also Ashleigh’s birthday who used to play in Red Bennies.
SUNDAY 2018 07 08 OO, Sam Milianta, Bandaid
Allow me to describe: first, we talk about a piano Nick and Pearl just bought, then “00″ plays (pronounced “Zed Zed” here), then Sam Milianta shows and describes some of his photographs, then the fresh band Bandaid plays their first show, then Lord B/Falchion B/Twinbee play some tunes and experiment with their very first “super jam” and oo joins in. After that, Lord British and Falchion B get in a fight to see who can make the last sound on the recording.
WEDNESDAY 2018 06 28 No Special Guest Just Jagz
This night, we ran out of special guests. Utah magazine took a photo of all the boys in the band.
SUNDAY 2018 05 30 Matt McMurrey Finale Grand

WEDNESDAY 2018 05 30 Sam Burton Natalie Alsup-Edwards
Sam Burton was visiting from Los Angeles, so he played and he’s a personal favorite of mine, so it was a great night. Nora was back from her BrainBagz tour so it was nice to have some drums- it had been a couple of weeks. We played the cyber song that Ichi watched on the star wars special (that’s Chewie’s father in law). Natalie did the “Manual Art Gallery” and showed a stamp set they made.
SUNDAY 2018 05 27 Tiffany Boulanger Falcon Lopez
This night, Tiffany Boulanger played an amazing set and had a sing-along, Falcon Lopez played a heavy synth set, and then Lord British looked at Falchion B and it was only 11 0clock. They still had to play for 2 more hours! So they tried to play a lot of nintendo-style music, including a scorching rendition of the great song from Konami’s Lifeforce. And Falchion B had a wicked sickness the whole time. Pearl and Dakota hosted, and at one time the microphone cord just went into a crowd. After the show, they went to Dell Taco to hang out with the Rubes.
WEDNESDAY 2018 05 23 Moriah Glazier
Nora was out of town touring with BrainBagz, Halee was playing cello for her cousin, Nick was overworked from construction, so we had no drummer. In steps the hero, Falchion B, to backup the Jazz Jagz. Moriah Glazier played, Joe talked about his CD’s, and VHS VIC set up his fortune telling tent, asking some scary dudes to move, and later, one of the dudes went in the tent and tried to tear it down.

WEDNESDAY 2018 04 19 By The Wind Sailor, Tucker art guest, History Lesson
I Went back and added this recording because it was the earliest one on my hard drive. By The Wind Sailor is a pre version of John and Niki’s group, Gentle Persuasions. Tucker drew with chalk all over the fireplace rocks, we got a great history lesson.
